Bringing Australia to Spain

As gifts, we brought Darrell Lea liquorice and Tim Tams. It was therefore a must to introduce the boys to Tim Tam slamming.

Duncan made up a big bowl of hot chocolate, we gave a brief explanation and let them go to it. I think it was a success.

You need to tell me how to do this. We have Tim Tams that the girls love but I’ve never done the slamming. I meant to ask you while there but kept forgetting.

    Bite off one corner.

    BIte off the kitty corner.

Dip into drink of choice; hot chocolate or coffee works well.

Slurp through the tim tam like it were a straw.

Once innards have softened enough, eat!

We tried to introduce some friends kids to this fantastic pastime on xmas eve. Unfortunately, British pengiun biscuits (the closest thing to tim tams in the UK) do NOT work. They do not have the required hollow centre for sucking. I will have to shop around for something else that may work cos the kids love it.
