Meh

Quite a while ago now, I read an article in the SMH announcing that the word “meh” had been chosen from terms suggested by the public for inclusion in the dictionary’s 30th anniversary edition, to be published next year.

I was impressed to see that Canada was included in an example: “The Canadian election was so meh.”

It’s about time the word is recognised as I’ve been using it for a while – and I even have the t-shirt to prove it!

    Finally!!!! Still not sure what it conveys but if we are referring to Canadian poitics it must mean one of the following – boring, underhanded, rude, corrupt, finger pointing, pointless, aggravating, did I say rude?, manipulative and down right childish. So just where does “meh” fit in…..hehehehe
